Chapter 697 Education Partnership Program

EAA 697 is proud to announce several new programs in process concerning our past Education Partnership programs with St. Tammany Parish Schools for the 2006/2007 school year. They will be advertised once all details are solidified. The new programs will be similar to past programs with the same rough prerequisites as listed below: 

Our programs have two major elements:

1) Young Eagles Flights

        Primarily for R.O.T.C. students.  Currently, most of our R.O.T.C. students are Air Force R.O.T.C., but the program does not contain any hands-on exposure to aircraft, EAA firmly believes this will help to fill that gap.

2) Classroom lectures

        Our members and associates will be guest lecturing on a number of aviation related topics throughout the school year.  These lectures will start with R.O.T.C. classes, but may be expanded to Science, Math and History classes as well.
